Rummage up the Ugliest Sweater you can find and celebrate the Holidays by participating in the Merriest 5K of the year. Join thousands of runners, walkers, and prancers from around the nation as The Ugly Sweater Run tours North America. If you’ve never done a 5k before, it’s the perfect way to burn some calories while having fun and immediately replace those calories with a hot chocolate, and a Kahlúa cocktail (21+). All you have to do is register!

The run is approximately 3.1 miles, through city streets and scenic parks. The start line includes massive inflatables, photo stations, games and the most cheerful holiday music.  Join us at the finish line and take a family photo in a larger than life snow-globe, run through our fake snow and so much more!

Once you’ve frolicked your way through the 5K, follow your fellow holiday fanatics to the post-race festivities. We have everything your five-year-old self could want plus a few perks of adulthood. Take a much-deserved break from the shopping frenzy, and celebrate your sweater filled day with a Kahlúa cocktail (21+), and other holiday goodies. Awards for Best Ugly Sweater, Best Kids Sweater, Best Pet Attire and Best Real/Fake Mustache/Beard will be declared. Register now and join us for this truly unforgettable tradition!

The Ugly Elves are the backbone of this event. Our Volunteers help with checking in participants, passing out swag, handing out beverages, spreading holiday cheer, and seriously putting the “elf” in selfie.

All volunteers will receive the following:

• A comfy beanie
• A free run (if you volunteer at packet pick-up the day prior to the event)
• Free Hot Chocolate
• Kahlúa wants to hook you up with a complimentary post-race cocktail (21+ only). Please enjoy responsibly.
• Community service hours
• The Merriest 5K of your life

You can even log some community service hours! Come on, it’s the holiday season! Time to be the upstanding citizen you always wanted to be.
