Whether you are a regular 5k’er or are taking your first steps out on your running journey, why not get into the spirit of the season. Hey, with all those calories you’ll burn off, raiding that chocolate tin may not feel so bad

All you have to do is complete the distance, in one or more outings and then send us in your evidence. Once submitted, your Ugly Sweater Run beanie hat and festive ornament ‘medal’ will be dispatched, in an operation slicker than the big man’s workshop itself!

Join one of the planets biggest festive fun runs and be sure to upload plenty of photos of your outing – there are prizes for the best sweaters, fancy dress and group awards!

£1 of every entry is going directly to Shelter UK. Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through advice, support and legal services.

Q: What is the age limit for the run?
A: The event is not timed, so runners of any age can participate. We would recommend that all runners under 11 are accompanied by an adult on their runs.

Q: How do I send my verification over?
A: All virtual run entrants will be sent full instructions on how to submit their evidence. This is all done online here.

Q: When will I receive my medal?
A: Virtual runners will have their medal dispatched 2-3 business days after submitting their evidence.

Q: Can I enter as a whole group or family?
A: Yes, we have entry options for groups and families at discounted rates. The person signing up will be the person where ALL the beanies and medals are dispatched to.
